sHLOMI AMSALEM

Shlomi Amsalem is a stills and video photographer working with government ministries and leading organizations, including the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Prime Minister’s Office, and the Government Press Office. His work focuses on documenting processes, events, and delegations in Israel and abroad, combining human sensitivity, documentary precision, and advanced technological expertise. Shlomi is licensed and highly experienced in aerial photography using unmanned aerial vehicles (drones).

His photographic exhibitions have been presented worldwide. Among them, the exhibition My Jerusalem was showcased at the Skopje Opera House in North Macedonia in honor of Israel’s 69th Independence Day, and later at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles. His photographs are regularly published in Israeli and international media outlets.

Alongside his documentary work, Shlomi is the creator of the book On the Seventh Day — a profound and sensitive project documenting the period from October 7 through Operation “Swords of Iron.” The project includes visual testimonies of bereaved families, families of hostages, survivors, and those who endured the massacre in the Gaza border communities.
